Main Course
18 hour smoked and beer braised blade of beef with wholegrain mashed potato, baby pearl onions and a ‘brother rabbit’ jus
Jerusalem artichoke, wild mushroom and chestnut risotto with aged parmesan and black truffle 

Cheese Course / Dessert
Little Lincoln Imp mature cheddar, toasted sourdough, marmalade onions and a ‘wild raven’ ice cream
Dark chocolate mousse with honeycomb and a ‘cocoa wonderland’ ice cream

We will be offering a diverse and comprehensive selection of award-winning craft beers from the iconic Thornbridge Brewery which will be hosted by their very knowledgeable beer expert James.

We will also be giving every guest a complimentary Craft Union beer and cookery book.

Battle of the Counties
Once again we challenge our Chefs and find out who will be awarded the ‘Best Dish’. This time the challenge is to choose a county within the UK and cook a dish with origins from the chosen county. As we know they will put their own twist to the dish, but who will serve the tastiest and most appealing dish?  You decide!

Seared Scallops, with sticky braised pig cheek, parsley root puree, chestnuts and crispy kale

Cricket Inn Smoked Salmon, crab mayonnaise, capers and cornichons served with toasted rye and caraway seed bread

Mushroom and Spinach Tortellini, Jerusalem artichoke velouté and Wiltshire black truffle


Champagne sorbet or oyster au naturel



Fruit de Mer (for one), oyster, tiger prawns, mussels, crab and scallop with saffron and chive hollandaise and red pepper rouille

Taylor’s Fillet Steak Rossini, duck liver parfait, brioche and Madeira and truffle sauce

Whole warm little mester’s cheese (made in Sheffield), Bertha roasted vegetable crudities and garlic




Melting Chocolate Sphere, Sheffield bouillon chocolate glaze, cherry and pistachio nitro sponge

Caramelized Apple Crumble Souffle, cinnamon crème anglaise and sour apple frozen parfait

Early Spring Asparagus and Spring Onion Risotto finished with aged parmesan and baby rocket

Wild Mushrooms on Sourdough Toast, with brandy, stilton, white truffle oil and parmesan

Duck Hash Cake, fried duck egg, and braised lentils with a duck and cherry sauce



Omelette Lyonnaise, Bertha asparagus, spinach and hazelnut salad

Mixed Grill of Fish, Provençal crushed potatoes, samphire and roast cherry tomatoes finished with basil beurre blanc

Mussels with Organic Cider, home cured streaky bacon, Our Cow Molly cream, parsley served with parmesan fries and house salad

Roast Rib Eye of Beef, caramelised onion jam, Yorkshire pudding and oxtail gravy

Honey Glazed Stuffed Belly Pork, black pudding and apple , red cabbage , crackling and sage gravy

Bertha Rump of Lamb, lamb shoulder shepherd’s pie, minted mash and braised peas with lamb gravy
